Bio medical Engineer 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advise and assist in the application of instrumentation in clinical environments.
  •  Conduct research, along with life scientists, chemists, and medical scientists, on the engineering aspects of the biological systems of humans and animals.
  • Design and develop medical diagnostic and clinical instrumentation, equipment, and procedures, utilizing the principles of engineering and bio-behavioral sciences.
  • Develop models or computer simulations of human bio-behavioral systems in order to obtain data for measuring or controlling life processes.
  • Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of bio medical equipment.
  •  Install, adjust, maintain, and/or repair bio medical equipment.

Salary: $51,490 per year

Education: Prospective bio medical engineering students should take high school science courses, such as chemistry, physics, and biology. They should also take math courses, including calculus. Courses in drafting or mechanical drawing and computer programming are also useful. you have to major on a biomedical course in college and knowledge in biology mathematics, physics, English language, and engineering and technology.


i would maybe like to major in bio medical engineering  but not really because it has to do with mathematics and a lot of science i do not enjoy math nor science so i probably wouldn't do so good in this job but it sounds interesting to me.
