Duties and Responsibilities:
Focused on movement behavior as it emerges in the therapeutic relationship.  Expressive, communicative, and adaptive behaviors are all considered for group and individual treatment.  Body movement, as the core component of dance, simultaneously provides the means of assessment and the mode of intervention for dance/movement therapy.

Salary:$40,000 - $50,000 a year

Education: the subject you need to have for this job would be psychological theory, human development, multicultural perspectives, group process, behavioral research, psychopathology, psychodiagnosis and assessment skills , expressive and communicative aspects of verbal and non-verbal behavior, movement observation and analysis, human anatomy, kinesiology and basic neuroscience and clinical applications of DMT with individuals, families and groups.  Programs also require and provide at least 700 hours of supervised clinical fieldwork and internships.


I think i would enjoy this because i like to move around and well it's nice it could be such a simple job and very peaceful as well. i'm not much of a dancer but i guess i'm ok in it so i would do good in this job i think and plus i believe they pay decent money which could help me around.
